About TBR Books

TBR Books is a husband and wife team who combine a love of books with a love of new technology. Andrew Goyder has worked with internet-based start-up companies for the past five years and makes up for his lack of literary knowledge with insight into the miracles of digital printing. Victoria Best has spent the past ten years at Cambridge University, teaching in the arts, but prior to that has worked both printing and selling books. Her crippling deficiencies in HTML are balanced by an abiding passion for fine writing in all its many forms, and an eye for a good blog.

We think that the rise of new technologies will eventually transform the publishing industry and that already a new crossover market exists between the web and the bookshop that has yet to be properly explored. The internet offers writers the opportunity to publish their work without hassle and fosters in this way the kind of writing that is unusual, experimental, uncategorisable and original. If we can find just a fraction of that and put it into print, our work will be done.
